The business of Sze Heng Chan Holdings (四興棧) started in 2004 in Singapore as a Sole Proprietor, founded by Lester Tan, focusing on the business of Food Supply and Distribution. The roots of the company name “四興棧” was adopted from Lester’s father old business selling only potatoes, onion and garlic through a van sale. With limited capital in hand and absolutely no experience and guidance in the wholesales provision trade, Lester started with buying a small van and a rented shop front in Victoria Wholesales Centre at Victoria Street.
